Mover Monday: Daniela Jordan-Villaveces
It's Monday and you know what that means.... Mover Monday! Today's edition features creative director and illustrator, Daniela Jordan-Villaveces. Daniela is next in our series of cool Angelenos making cool stuff after they were inspired by our Make Moves card deck. Daniela has a keen eye for color and pattern. Her designs and illustrations radiate feeling, irreverence, light and are a reflection of who she is as a person. Read on to find out more about Daniela and what she created for us below!
Moved LA: How would you describe yourself?
Daniela: I want to impact my community through many different creative outlets and hopefully plants seeds of change and positivity as I go along.
Moved LA: What’s your story?
Daniela: I'm a Colombian- born creative director and illustrator living in LA. My work has always been design oriented and I love creating worlds whether it be by designing a collection, illustrating or directing a photoshoot.
Moved LA: How did the Make Moves card deck inspire you?
Daniela: All the cards had SUCH fun prompts! I wanted to get up and moving but also felt a strong need to interpret some of my favorites as illustrations.
Moved LA: If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Daniela: Tele transportation! I love to travel but wish there was a better way.
Moved LA: What are your top 3 favorite things to do when you need to relax and have fun?
Daniela: I love to either draw, dance like a maniac, or bake.
Moved LA: What’s up next for you?
Daniela: I'm having a baby in 3 months! Talk about a life change!
