Cannabis, Yoga, + Creative Movement!?

YUP! We put all those things together, sprinkled in some awesome djs, and a super duper fun group of people, et voilà, a beautiful collaborative evening with Ashlee Langas of The Wavvy Cloud was born! For those of you that don’t know, Ashlee is an incredible yoga teacher and human being, who offers these dreamy Stoned Yoga classes that incorporate cannabis consumption in a wonderful community setting, with a great chilled out yoga session. It felt like the perfect marriage, especially since we have hosted one of these collaborative evenings together once before.

Cannabis, brews, music, and good vibes were flowing all evening! We had goodies from our sponsors including Drew Martin, Fume, Wyld, and Frogtown Brewery to help get everyone feeling relaxed and in touch with themselves and others, especially since it’s been a while since we’ve really been around a group of people! After some group mingling, Ashlee started her amazing yoga section which included stretching and rolling of muscles, in such a relaxing, and deeply connected way. Then Sarah transitioned everyone from the floor up to standing and moving, where we provided the space for the group to get a little silly, weird, and playful together.

Wow…just reliving it through the words of this post feels so good, so you can imagine what it was like to actually be there! What a magical night filled with movement, connection, and fun. We seriously can’t wait to do it again some time. So if you have the FOMO, don’t worry, we will have to do it again next year! Until then, if you’re in the mood to get moving, and a little silly on your own or with friends, check out the on demand library of Moved LA workshops to put a pep in your step, or embrace the chill, cause seriously, whatever your mood is, we’ve got a workshop for that!

Big thanks to Ashlee, our DJs Wade and Felicity, Cristina for managing the hell out of things, and our HQ studio, Frogtown Creative for making this an event to remember!
