Community Workshop for IWD!

Wowwwwy! We had such an amazing community based workshop earlier this month. Since Sarah is the Co-Founder of LA based non profit dance company, MashUp, and the founder of Moved LA, she thought it was only right to bring them together to celebrate International Women’s Day. Every year MashUp hosts it’s IWD dance festival, and this year Moved LA was part of the fun! As always the workshop was open to all levels, abilities, bodies, and genders.

We had such a great group and the energy was just infectious. We moved out in the sunshine, to a playlist that was built on the spot from everyone’s requests, and connected as everyone embraced their playful sides! We even let everyone take a turn spinning the “Wheel O’ Moves”, and raffled off a deck of our Make Moves cards to one lucky winner.

A big huge thank you to everyone who came and shared their energy, laughs, and moves with us. It was a real treat. And thank you to MashUp, and our resident studio, Frogtown Creative. We absolutely love being part of this community!

If you’re in LA, and you’re bummed you couldn’t make it to this event, save the date for our upcoming Day Camp event - where you’ll get the chance to feel like a kid again! Join in on the fun on Saturday May 28th.
